So Elliott and Hermie are doing a meet and greet this freakin Saturday night in South Hill at a wrestling event...

You know, if it wasn't sooooo close to Christmas and I wasn't pinching my pennies like I am... I'd definitely spend the $50 to go see them... I don't know if I'd pay that much attention to the wrestling... But I have friends who love that crap, so I would just get them to go with me... But... I shouldn't spend the money on it, right?

On the other hand... I only went to 2 races this year instead of my normal 4-5... Sooooo I could say that this $50 is out of my "non-used race fund of 2006" and go....

Hmmm.....

Yeah, I'm not going. But it would be nice if I could! :)

Yeah, it's been quite a while, but I'm back. Hopefully to stay this time.

Ok, ok, ok... Princess Jimmie won the Championship. BLAH. My opinions of him haven't changed and all I can say is... BLAH! Bring on 2007! (I have a countdown to the Daytona 500 on my myspace page, LOL)

Ok, so a short explanation as to where I've been...

As you all know, I got married this past July. Well, I've pulled a "Britney Spears" on ya... My divorce will be finalized in April. I'm not going to sit here and talk bad about him, but I will say this - in a marriage, it takes TWO to make it work. I'm not going to go bust my tail at work all day and have him sit at home thinking he doesn't have to work. And I get to pay all the bills. Uh-uh, NO WAY! Gave him the opportunity to change, he told me he was NOT changing, so I told him to leave. I've taken the past month to get caught up on old bills and get my life back in order.

And you know what? He caused me to almost lose a lot of my friends. Because it was either hang with my friends and come home and fight with him, or just give in and stay home with him.... I lived with him. It was a difficult situation and I thank God everyday that I got myself out of it before I invested too much of my time and money.

Anyways, so that's been taking up a lot of time for me the past few months. But I'm back in action, LOL

I hope everyone is doing well and had a great Thanksgiving!

I will write more REAL soon!

Ok, so I didn't get to watch much of the race last weekend, I saw the ending - Man, I loved it!

Congrats to Tony for coasting across the finish line with no gas, LOL

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive... I'm just going through some serious problems in my world right now and for a while there, I slipped into a major depression. I'm thinking things can only get better at this point, so I'm going to try to make myself get back into the things I used to enjoy doing, like blogging and NASCAR and that kind of stuff.

The Richmond race has come and gone. I didn't get to go (obviously). Oh well, there's always next year. I can't believe the reigning Champion didn't make the Chase. I swear I thought Ol' Gordo was going to drop out of the top 10 and push Tony in. At least Kasey made it - he deserves to be in it, really, with the most wins out of any driver this season. But that's just my opinion. I really hope either Kahne, Harvick or Martin wins the Championship. Just say NO to Hendrick, LOLOL!! OH - and how about Hamlin making it in? Impressive.

Has been a little crazy for me... :)

Not only was my birthday on Tuesday, but I've been sick with a serious kidney infection all week. And we've had really crappy weather due to that hurricane. And I've been stressed about stuff that has been going on at home, but thank goodness, that all pretty much got worked out last night.

Anyways, let's talk Cali for a sec. I will always think of this weekend as being the Southern 500. Bring back DARLINGTON on Labor Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't mind Cali having two races, that track doesn't bore me to tears (like POCONO)... But just give this weekend back to Darlington!!!~*Sigh*~

It will be really interesting to see if I get to actually watch any of the race because even though Monday is a holiday, my hubby has to work. So he may not LIKE me screaming and yelling at the tv at midnight on Sunday, lol. I guess I'll just give him some earplugs... LOL

Congrats to Kenseth for the win. I thought Burton had the car to beat, but I was wrong!

So, I'm sitting there all excited cuz ESad was running in the top 10 pretty much all night. I go outside to smoke (yeah, bad habit, I know), come back inside and they are showing ESad in like 34th?? What the heck?? I'm never smoking during a race again! All I know is that I saw them interview ESad and he said something about Nemecheck running over him. *sigh* Then, a while later, I see ESad back his car up in the wall. I was NOT a happy camper about that situation.

But - my hubby surprised me! He watched EVERY bit of that race with me. He even changed his favorite driver! I'm not really sure WHY he changed to this guy, considering the pretty bad run he had at Bristol, but Justin is going to back... Ol' Fat Boy - Tony Stewart! Yayyyy! I'm happy, of course, cuz Tony's my second fav driver. And Justin's already started on the fact that he wants to go to a race. That's so cool to me, I never thought I'd actually get him to a racetrack. And now he's like, do you think you can get tix to Richmond? LOL I'm doing my best, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to come thru on those tix... But he's already talking about trying to go to Martinsville in October. He knows when the races are, LOL!! And now he's all involved in his Playstation 2 NASCAR Thunder game... It's hilarious.

Well, that's about all I've got to say at the moment... I'm kinda busy at work today, my department has left me alone to hold down the fort (well, I kinda offered to stay here) while they all go to a retirement party... I didn't know the guy as well as everyone else did, so I don't really mind staying here by myself.

Tomorrow's my 28th birthday. I'm gonna get Justin to take me out to one of those Japanese steakhouses I think. That sounds really good right now, lol.

Bristol Night Race!!!

My favorite race of the year!

I should be there right now... *grumble, grumble*

This time last year, I was getting ready to head down to Bristol to celebrate my birthday weekend. That was the second time I've ever been to that track and it's the best track I've ever been to, no questions asked. If you've never been to Bristol, you are missing out! It's hard to believe how they can cram all of those cars and all of the fans in such a small little circle. LOL And you should see the way they park the haulers at the track, it looks like there is NO room to walk in between them. It's absolutely insane!

Justin's giving in and watching the race with me this weekend. I told him that he picked the best weekend to start watching. It would have been even better for him if he was actually at the track, but oh well!! He's funny though - for someone who doesn't watch NASCAR, you would think they wouldn't have a favorite driver... But he does... In fact, he has two... ~*sigh*~ My husband roots for... Kevin Harvick and Jr.

I guess it could have been worse... He could have said Princess Jimmie... Or Gordo... Or God forbid, he could have said Carl Edwards... We would have been in the divorce court today!!! LOL

Well, ESad scored the first top ten for the #19 car this season... Good for him! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any of the race... I heard some of it on the radio... In between the Ford commercials where you heard ESad talking about OAD and how driving the Ford Fusion helped him deal with the OAD... (If you haven't heard the commercial, don't ask, it's stupid anyways) I just thought it was funny how they were running Ford commercials with ESad talking when it's his first weekend driving a Dodge... LOL

Did any of you guys catch the Busch race? I saw the very last lap... And what Carl Edwards did after the last lap. Now, I'm not saying what Jr did was right - I mean, I only saw the lap one time, so I'm not definite on what happened... But for Carl to complain about it??? Um, Carl, don't forget about last (2005) spring, you know, the Busch race at Richmond? The one where you put ESad in the wall on the last lap and went on to win the race???? Yeah, almost the same scenario happened this weekend, only Carl was the one being put in the wall. Oh, and Carl, your little retaliation crap you pulled running into Jr like that??? Yeah - that's a classic Tony Stewart move... You know, that guy you called a moron or whatever the other week??? Don't sit there and judge Tony if you are going to pull the same stunts on the track!!!!

Today is my stepson, Talon's, first birthday!! Tomorrow we are having a birthday party - Justin and I went out last night and spent lotz of money at the store buying birthday presents... Should be a fun day tomorrow. Hopefully. The in-laws are all meeting up tomorrow for the first time... (His mom wasn't able to be at our wedding...) I'm sure it will be interesting... :) LOL

Hmmm... Am I the only one wondering how ESad's gonna do at Michigan this weekend? Ray Evernham is going to be out to prove that he didn't make a mistake by bringing in ESad so soon. I hope he does well, but I hope that he can also stay consistent and learn how to work with his crew the remainder of this season. He needs to be in the Chase in 2007! Give me something to cheer for!!

Oh well, I've still got Tony!! :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Since we have the kids this weekend, I'm most likely not going to be able to blog again until either late Sunday or Monday. So, everyone take care and root for that #19 car!!!

What in the world is going on with ESad?

I heard some kinda rumor that he could be driving the #19 NEXT WEEK???

I kinda/sorta watched the race... In between cleaning and other things... And I couldn't hear anything about it because my lovely hubby was playing his guitar at full blast at the same time.

Can someone please fill me in?

I gotta get back to watching this stuff... Even the road courses... I'm missing too much information!!!

Ok, I know some of you have been waiting (patiently) for me to post my wedding pictures... Lemme try to jump back into this NASCAR stuff. I'm just gonna hit lightly on a few subjects because I know most of you have already heard this stuff.

First off - Todd Parrott back to RYR?!?! They just happen to announce that AFTER ESad announces he's leaving? I thought ESad & Parrott had great chemistry together. Maybe they shouldn't have taken Parrott away from ESad in the first place and there wouldn't be any of this drama going on!

Secondly - I hope the rumors of ESad going to Evernham aren't true. I know you have all heard the Mayfield/B. Elliott/Evernham drama and I really don't like the fact of ESad maybe driving for an organization that is run by someone that is being so sneaky and treating their drivers like crap. Just my opinion.

Third - I hate road courses. I'm actually going to have the time to sit down and watch the race this weekend, but I just don't know if I'm actually going to do it or not because I HATE road courses. Waste of time. Again, just my opinion.

Fourth - I actually got to watch Indy last weekend. I think I cursed ESad by watching it though. I threw the remote at the tv when he wrecked. Then I fell asleep. Then I woke up and saw Princess Jimmie a lap down or he screwed up something, I can't really remember - all I remember is that I laughed at that and fell asleep again... And I thought I was having a nightmare when I saw that the Princess actually won the race. I pinched myself to make sure I was awake. Then I threw the remote at the tv again, cussed a little and then went out to eat. LOL

Feelings on Tony Stewart (We feel this is an important question to gauge who someone is. lol): I love Tony! He makes NASCAR a little more exciting every week. I didn't like him when he was beating up reporters and stuff like that, but the things he's done lately just crack me up. Most of the time, that is....
If you were Mike Helton for a day...: First and foremost, Get rid of the Chase. I couldn't stand it the first year they did the Chase and I still can't stand it now. Then I wouldn't allow Toyota to race next year. Then I'd take Mr. Helton's credit card... oops, I mean, MY credit card and go shopping. LOL
Ever fallen asleep during a race? I hate to admit it, but yeah... Only cuz I drank too much though. I'm such a lush.
Dream NASCAR job: Elliott Sadler or Tony Stewart's Personal Assistant. LOL
Best race you've ever watched: Any Bristol night race. :) Oh - and Brandy, I was at that Darlington race... Sitting almost at the start/finish line! Awesome race.

Yep... I moved over here... Surprise, surprise!

MSN Spaces made so many updates and the format is so different... I hated it. So, here I am!

I'm going to do my absolute best to blog like I used to now. Things are definitely calming down and I've actually been able to watch a few races lately! I'm soooo excited, lol!
